MBN’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama “Rich Man, Poor Woman” has released stills of its supporting cast!
“Rich Man, Poor Woman” is a remake of the popular 2012 Japanese romantic comedy about a genius CEO who suffers from the inability to recognize faces, and an optimistic woman with an extraordinary memory. EXO’s Suho will be playing Lee Yoo Chan, the CEO of successful IT company Next In, while Ha Yeon Soo plays Kim Bo Ra, a hardworking employee of Next In.
In addition to the main characters, Park Sung Hoon, FTISLAND’s Lee Jae Jin, and Gong Seo Young will be rounding out the cast as supporting characters. Park Sung Hoon will be playing Cha Do Jin, a Next In programmer who’s nicknamed “little Lee Yoo Chan.” Cha Do Jin created a widely successful mobile game during his college years and unabashedly claims that he will catch up to Lee Yoo Chan in just five years.
Lee Jae Jin will transform into Kang Chan Soo, who fawns over Lee Yoo Chan. While Lee Yoo Chan never seems to recognize Kang Chan Soo — despite running into each other every day — Kang Chan Soo lives with the hope that he will be able to work on a project with Lee Yoo Chan one day.
Finally, Gong Seo Young will be playing the cool and attractive Kang Se Yeon, who is regarded as the visual of Next In. Kang Se Yeon works hard at what she does, remaining professional at all times, and is sure to become a girl crush character.
With the first episode just around the corner, many are looking forward to how the three actors will further the drama with their teamwork and chemistry as Next In employees.
“Rich Man, Poor Woman” premieres on Wednesday, May 9 at 11 p.m. KST, and will be available exclusively on Viki! Learn more about the main characters and watch the latest trailer here!
